Smooth Engagement, No Grabbing

Replaced a noisy, jerky brake with this one—huge improvement. Applies gradually and releases cleanly. The bonded shoes seem to wear evenly. Great for daily use.

Consistent with Lippert Setup

Even though it's branded for DXT, it fit perfectly on my Lippert 7K axle. Backing plate alignment was spot-on. Braking is smooth and doesn’t grab or pulsate.

Manual Adjust Works Well – Just Check It

You do need to adjust it periodically, but that’s expected. The access plug in the drum makes it easy. Braking performance is strong and consistent once set.

Slight Drag After Installation

Had a bit of drag at first—just needed a minor adjustment with the star wheel. Once set, it spins freely and brakes firmly. Good value, especially on the 6-pack deal.
